Eguchi Holdings Co. Ltd., in partnership with We Are IT Philippines, has constructed two solar power generationson on the roof tops of the Central Bank of the Philippines (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas or BSP), and that was completed on May 31st.
We held the completion ceremony on 14th of June at BSP Main Office.
The project is a bidding contract presented by the Philippine National Oil Company Renewables Corporation (PNOC RC), the governmental company in Philippines. In addition, it is the first project for PNOC RC to accept a Japanese company.
The installation scale for the roof top is 600kW in total, 200kW for BSP Main Office in Manila and 400kW for SPC in Quezon. All the electricity generated by solar PV systems is used inside the buildings.
We are trying hard to accelerate the introduction of solar power generation systems and solar street lighting systems in not only in the Philippine, but also in other ASEAN countries, while making use of this achievement as a stepping stone. We also contribute to the development of global infrastructure.
